The new bracelet from E.C.Andersson Watch Co. is a premium, 316L steel jubilee design, made from solid links and tightly put together using screws. It attaches to all of the brand’s Denise models to become an integrated part of the case, and features sandblasted sidelinks and polished midlinks. The length of the bracelet can be adjusted on the go using a micro-adjustable deployment clasp, which is also featured on the company’s rubber straps. The links can be removed using a screwdriver.
The steel bracelet, the result of an E.C.Andersson in-house venture, has been in development over the past year and is made largely by hand. Since the bracelets are made one at a time, the company can only accept a limited number of orders to ensure the quickest possible delivery. Find the collection here.
Together with the launch of the new Denise Arctic Sport, E.C.Andersson is also releasing the final Denise Black and Denise Calypso Blue models, limited to 10 and 30 pieces, respectively. All can be ordered with the new steel Jubilee bracelet.
Denise Arctic Sport
The Denise Arctic Sport is made with Nordic adventures in mind, with a highly legible dial designed to counteract glare from bright snow during daytime, and large markers to light up the watch’s face through long winter nights. While the hour markers of the previous Arctic Sport were made with a polished gray surface, the new edition’s markers feature sandblasted frames in deep black, making them easily distinguishable even in extreme weather conditions. The bezel is made from frosted white ceramics, sporting larger markers than other Denise divers in the collection.
In order to minimize distractions on the dial, the watch features a subtle power-reserve indicator displayed as a simple arrow, illuminated at the “full” and “empty” positions, with text curved beneath it.
The Denise Arctic Sport is delivered with the new steel Jubilee bracelet or with a duo of patterned rubber straps in black and forest green. All options include a micro-extension clasp which can be adjusted without removing the watch from the wrist.
For use in extreme weather conditions that requires a thick jacket or a dry suit, an extra-long, signal-orange strap is also included with every order. It will comfortably fit the watch and enable it to be worn over any outerwear.
All E.C.Andersson watches from the Denise collection come equipped with the Caliber ECANE01 automatic movement, which has been regulated and precision certified in-house to hold an impressive running rate of +/- 4 seconds per 24 hours. The case is 40 mm in diameter and 14 mm thick, and made from satinized 316L steel with polished bevels from lug-to-lug and is rated to 200 meters of water resistance.
As is common with E.C.Andersson Watch Co.’s new releases, the Denise Arctic Sport is offered at a heavily discounted price during pre-order: 30 percent off if ordering the watch early. The price increases with every 20th order and only 100 will be made in total, so be sure to place your order right away.
